YOU MAKE AN ASS OUT OF YOU AND ME.
Anyways, don’t you hate it when people assume things? Here are some examples:
- A guy and girl are together in a room. So it might be a bit suss that a girl and guy are in a room together and no one can see what they are doing. Even then you can’t assume that they are gonna do you know what. What if they are actually working on an assignment? What if the guy is gay? They might just be talking.
- Someone asking for a lighter. Man, I hate this so much you know? Every time I ask someone for a lighter, they think that I think that they smoke. Don’t assume lah! Their response would usually be, “No, I don’t smoke!” Yeah well, I never asked if you smoked okay! I asked if you had a lighter. Big difference there. Just because they are connected and linked, it doesn’t mean anything. It’s like saying, “Hey do you have water?” and you answering, “No, I don’t bring a fish tank with me,” or something like that.
- “I have protection in my wallet”. Well, there’s pretty much only 2 response. One is a bandaid and the other? Well, if you have a sick mind, I’m sure you can work it out.
- “I failed.” People would be like, “Oh whatever!” when really, that person actually did fail. It’s good to be on the safe side and not assume that they are lying and just said that they failed for attention. Yeah, it’s hard since most of your Asians friends call a B a fail. Speaking of which, this guy from Boys Grammar was like, “MAN I FAILED 2 SUBJECTS…I GOT 2 A’S… THE REST A+. WHY DIDN’T I GET ALL A+!” That’s just over the top man >_> Also, people who say they fail but didn’t actually fail (Get D or worse) are annoying – especially if they beat you :|
- Going to a party. Every time I talk about parties, people think about alcohol, drugs and all those uncontrollable teenagers gone wild. Seriously. Parties can also mean pass the parcel, pin the tail on the donkey and maccas party okay >=( Stop thinking teenagers are all bad people. There are mature ones out there who keep their parties under control. Stupid media. Should shut up please!
- P platers. Stop assuming all P platers are dangerous drivers who crash into cars. For me, I’m gonna be a good driver alright >=( I’m not gonna go racing and crash into random stuff okay! I know some friends who have P plates and are quite dangerous drivers (such as they speed and all that on purpose and think it’s cool) but at the same time, I also know mature drivers who are of same age and I know they aren’t the drivers the media portrays. Not ALL P platers are dangerous. Not ALL P platers think they’re so cool. Only some alright buddy!
Then again, I make a lot of assumptions too HAHAHAHAH!
